The calculator helps you increase or decrease stitches evenly. It takes into account the number of stitches you start with, and you can either specify the number of stitches you want to increase or decrease, or the desired stitch count. Note that it does not distinguish knitting back and forth or in the round, and is best suited for increasing or decreasing from the right side in stockinette stitch.
