What we’ve built is a rule-based system grounded in knitting logic and mathematics. Every pattern is generated based on real calculations: gauge, size, construction, increases, and techniques — not predictions or guesses.

That means:

• Your pattern is consistent and reliable
  
• It’s built on how knitting actually works
  
• You can trust that everything adds up and fits together
  

AI can be great for inspiration.

But when it comes to generating a pattern you’ll spend hours knitting — precision matters more.

That’s why Dreamknit is built on logic, not AI 💫

The design tool is a pattern generator that lets you design your own knitting patterns by combining various design attributes and adding any yarn.

When placing your order, you receive your customized knitting pattern on your profile as a PDF file. If you don't have a Dreamknit account, you'll receive the pattern on email.

We focus highly on making understandable knitting patterns with step-by-step instructions. The patterns include video links to the techniques you are going use.

Sweaters, t-shirts and vests are worked top-down. You start by casting on a given number of stitches before you continue according to the construction you chose when making the pattern.

Beanies are worked bottom up. You start by casting on a given number of stitches, work a given set of centimeters and then increase to shape the top of the beanie.

A yarn kit includes your customized knitting pattern and the yarn you picked from the "yarn kit" section the design tool.

For now, we have a partnership with the Norwegian yarn brand Un-told. More is coming in the future.

Note that yarn is only included when choosing a yarn from the "yarn kit" section. Yarn is not included when you pick one from the "yarn" section or add your own.

We have a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on both the annual and monthly membership. You get unlimited access to all our tools right away. If you're not happy within 14 days, you get your money back. It's as simple as that.

Dreamknit offers yearly and monthly memberships that automatically renew each billing cycle. You can cancel anytime before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

You will lose access to the patterns created during your membership period. However, they remain accessible until your membership's yearly renewal date.

No problem! Simply log in to your Dreamknit account on a new device, and all your saved content will be available.

We accept most major credit and debit cards trough Stripe.

Currently, we don't offer the ability to pause memberships. You can cancel and rejoin at a later time.

Your designs will be saved on our servers for a limited period after your membership ends. You can regain access by rejoining within this timeframe.

You may only use logos, trademarks, characters, or other protected material if you have explicit permission from the rights holder.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or generate through Dreamknit does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. Dreamknit provides a technical tool and does not pre-screen all user-created content.

If we receive a notice of potential infringement, we may remove or restrict access to the relevant content.
